What Is Remote Healing?
by Saundra Berry, C.Ht.
We must first begin with the question of what is Remote Viewing (RV). It is the ability and skill of a person to perceive people, objects, locations, and events – from across the world or in the same building. RV is a skill that can be learned. It takes time, patience, and practice to become a RV. According to the Academy of Remote Viewing work within RV was actually based on mind sensing training developed by some government agencies. There are five intelligence agencies that were said to use RV at one time or another; they were the CIA, INSCOM, DIA, NSA and SRI. People were trained in RV in order to perform special covert activity for the government. In the mid 80’s until the early 90’s, Naval and Army intelligence actually set up their own units of RV that was under the supervision of the Defense Intelligence Agency. In fact, in 1985, Ed May, a former Naval Intelligence Officer took over the position of Director. However, it is said while these agencies once used RV they have either ended the practice or gone completely undercover.
RV has always fascinated me and in 1997 after training with an experienced RV, I felt it important to use this work in a different way. I wanted to do something to help those that were going through difficult times, in need of a physical or emotional healing or just needed extra support. So, I put together a workshop that I called “Remote Healing”. All based on the same concepts of RV, only, it was to focus attention and healing to those anywhere around the world, and even to the world itself. I structured the workshop to be interactive so all participants would take part in the process. I asked everyone to bring a name of someone they knew personally that was in need of Remote Healing. In order to check for accuracy it was important that we only be given the name.
After doing a deep relaxation with the group, I would chose a name and read it aloud and then we all focused our attention on one person at a time; sending healing to them for a minimum of 5-7 minutes. After the experience, I would ask those in attendance to give their impressions that might have been received during the Remote Healing. I asked the person that provided the name to take notes of the group impressions. It became very clear to all in attendance that many of them had definitely tapped into our “client”. They were able to give names, city, and state, describe the dis-ease, the home environment and some even offered specific messages for the “client” as to things they could try to help their dis-ease…it was truly astounding.
My experience with Remote Healing has been extremely positive and has proven to be very effective. If you would like more information, or would like to participate in a Remote Healing, please contact me at http://www.path2change.com
